Biography: 

Michel Cukier is the director of the Advanced Cybersecurity Experience for Students (ACES) in the Honors College and the associate director for education for the Maryland Cybersecurity Center (MC2). Cukier is also an associate professor of reliability engineering with a joint appointment in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests are dependability and security issues, with a specific focus on the empirical quantification of cybersecurity. 

Cukier has published more than 70 papers in journals and refereed conference proceedings. He has been featured as a cybersecurity expert in the Huffington Post and PC World.
